			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mobile marketing is bound to break through &ndash; double digit growth rates through 2010 are projected &ndash; and the mobile phone will become a major marketing channel commanding centre stage in 2009, Adweek predicts. (Adweek 2008) (Briggs 2007) We’ve been hearing about this breakthrough of mobile marketing in Europe and the US for over a decade now, but how can brands be prepared if this years predictions turn into reality? (The New York Times 2008) </p>
<p>The best practices of Japan, a country far ahead with anything mobile related, can be used as a point of inspiration for brands eager to use the new mobile channel. To illustrate how brands can use this channel effectively we will take a look at the success factors of a remarkable mobile campaign from Japan.<br />
